Two Ingredient Pizza Dough!

Anyone else obsessing over the two ingredient pizza dough? If you have no idea what I am talking about please take notes!

It is easy to make and with this quarantine matter, it has been my favorite go to.

My husband made his first pizza yesterday and it looked like something out of a pizzeria. He put his favorite pizza toppings, bacon, ham, cheese and pepperoni!

Serves 1

Ingredients

For thin pizza crust. If you want thicker pizza, you’ll need to add more flour and longer baking time.

  • 1/2 cup plain fat-free greek yogurt ( I used Fage Total 0% Non-fat Greek)
  • 1/2 cup white self-rising flour (see recipe below if you do no have self-rising flour. I made my own and the pizza turned out great!)
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup mozarella
  • 1 serving 65% less fat turkey pepperoni
  • Italian seasoning
  • Crushed peppers (optional)

Self-rising flour:

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup white flour
  2. 1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder (I used Rumford or Clabber girl baking powder)
  3. 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Instructions:

Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Ensure to whisk well so these ingredients are evenly distributed and viola!

Instructions to make Pizza:

  1. Set oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix yogurt and flour together with a spatula using the folding method.
  3. Once crumbly, place flour on silk mat and roll out dough using the rolling pin. If it is too sticky, add flour on your hands and silk mat, or spray with cooking spray. I used Chosen Foods Pure Avocado Oil spray because it’s healthier and zero calories!
  4. Place silk mat on baking sheet
  5. Season dough with Italian seasoning, add sauce, cheese, pepperoni and get spicy and add jalapenos or whatever you’re into.
  6. Bake for 13-15 minutes depending on how crispy you like your pizza, and enjoy! I added crushed peppers and additional Italian seasoning and this baby was truly delicious. Side note: This pizza pairs great with red wine. 🙂
