This smoothie is inspired by the classic PB&J sandwich that many of us loved as a child. It is the perfect way to start your day and a great midday snack!
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1/4 nut milk or 1% low-fat milk.
1/2 medium banana, sliced (fresh or frozen)
1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup crushed ice
Optional: For some added nutrition, add 1 scoop of collagen peptides ( I used vanilla)
Place all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Note: If you want a creamy smoothie use all frozen fruit. And if you choose all frozen fruit up your milk to a 1/2 cup instead of 1/4 cup as mentioned above.
